Welcome to my blog.
I'm glad you're here.
I began this little ol' "journal" to keep in touch with my family, whilst my military husband and I flitted across the United States, from base to base, for training and assignments. It has hence transformed into an outlet of trying my hand at photography (which still needs much more work), a timeline and "baby book" (of sorts) for my three children, and a way of connecting with other folk about life and all the joy and frustrations that it brings our way.
I am a saved-by-grace individual. I am a military wife of seven years. A mother of two beautiful girls, Bella (5) & Summer (3), & a son, Rhett (May '13). A daughter of wonderful parents. A sister to four siblings. An auntie to seven nieces and nephews. I love my life. But it has proven to be much different (and more difficult!) than I ever expected it to be. Part of this blog is used to hash out my feelings and thoughts and findings on what the Lord chooses to teach me, what paths He leads me through, and how He picks me up through my floundering. I write to hear myself and learn through the hearing, but you are welcome to read along and participate.
My husband and I both hail from California, but are stationed in Florida, after having lived in various parts of the mid-west for about the last nine years. Let's just say, we're lovin' us some sun and ocean!
Thanks for reading. I've always loved to write, but you, dear reader, are what makes writing so gratifying. Thanks for the pleasure.
